I haven't blogged much lately...much has happened. The topic that gives me the most joy and laughter is following the recent comments of Howard Dean, DNC Party Chairman. In the debate group, in which I am a member, I've had the priviledge of being named the Vice President of the newly formed "Howard Dean Fan Club." Heh, heh. We have sure been having a Red-Stater-knee-slapping-good-old-yeeeeeeee-haaaaaaaaaw-time with that! We even have some lefty members, what a hoot!
Judicial filibusters have ended, at least for the time being, though one could certainly say that filibustering is still alive and well, if following the Bolton nomination for UN Ambassador.
Great news on the FairTax front. The FairTax book which Neal Boortz and Congressman John Linder have co-authored will be released in August. It is already number three on the Barnes and Nobel internet site. Read about it in Nealz Nuze, here: boortz.com: Nealz Nuze Today's Nuze, or if you miss it, it was in the June 10 edition and you can retrieve it from his archives. I would recommend Neal's book to anyone seeking to understand the FairTax. He has a way of explaining it that is easily understood. Also recommended www.fairtax.org.
Ankle Biting Pundits is running a challenge to liberals to define the message of the Democrat Party. It is providing some interesting and fun reading.
One other item that caught my attention yesterday is the MOONBAT CENTRAL: The Genocidal Phantoms of the Oprah story. If you haven't yet come across this story about the of the Palestinian cause by Oprah and her magazine "O," you should check it out. You can also find it by clicking on Moonbat Central from http://www.discoverthenetwork.org/, the new site founded by David Horowitz to educate people about the connections between organizations and individuals on the left. It is a very informative site.
That about wraps up what's been on my mind lately. I've been very busy with other responsibilities.
Yeeeeaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhh! GO HOWIE!!!! : )
